Damn.....Yeah i did this and still symptoms remain :-(
Ok, remove the RAM and reinsert it and do the same with the GPU, then try booting again.

Just to confirm when I plug in my old monitor the problem is gone... so this is the Samsung g9 problem?Damn.....

It's a bug on the board.Me again with another update lol
Ok this is for sure my Samsung monitor that is responsible for this.
Found temporary fix for this.. once the machine starts up I power on the samsung monitor by turning of and back on 2 clicks.. this boots up fine and with the boise and no bleeps Not doing those 2 power button clicks on the monitor just gives this error again.
However the boise is all weird.. pcs logo is fine but the text for boise settings are in massive stretched out text.
So I am going to say it’s something to do with compatibility issues with the logo maybe?
Also selecting split screen on the monitor with PIP/ this also boots fine with the boise logo and no beep sounds either.
yeah may call pcs to say if their is is Bois updateIt's a bug on the board.
Basically, SOME new monitors send a return signal down Pin 20 of the display cable even when they're switched off just to show their presence and that the monitor is there. The board is set to EXPECT this signal which is incorrect and shouldn't be that way as there's a lot more monitors that don't send this return signal.
When it doesn't receive the signal until the monitor is powered on, the board thinks the monitor isn't connected and throws a GPU error.
It's really annoying to say the least.
Which board do you have?
@steaky360 can you confirm which board you have also?
On the plus side, it's a non-issue, it's literally just an inaccurate warning code that has no consequence at all aside from being annoying and the workaround is to power on the monitor before booting the PC.
It may be worth contacting PCS and seeing if there's a BIOS update, you never know, they may have patched it by now.
yeah this works for me to, just turning the monitor on once solves that issue for now.@SpyderTracks @Jamie85 sorry for the tardy response.
I get that same beep code, one long 3 short if I don't have my displays powered when i start the PC (manual reckons its no VGA) - but if I turn on the monitors first, I don't get the problem. I had a moment of severe trepidation when I turned on my PC, left the room to grab something and heard the beeps... when I came back in the PC had booted normally (my monitors are turned on independently of my PC and I'd not powered them up quick enough). My monitors are typically switched off at the wall overnight rather than left on standby.
I'd say @SpyderTracks is on the money here. I've not mentioned it before because the workaround (of simply turning on the monitors first) is now just what I do, I don't really see it as an issue for me as I'm used to switching them on each day, I've got a wee button on my desk that turns on a bank of sockets which my monitors are attached too.
FYI I've got the ASUS® ROG STRIX X570-F
Are you sure you're spelling barstewards correctly? Also every time I do phone pcs I do give mention about the forums mods etc so honestly appreciate all the help you do give on here.
Hot Diggety!!!!! 👏👏👏Monitor set up.
Hey @steaky360Looks great - how did you change the colour of the LED on the card? Mine seems to be permanently blue.
Nice one cheers! All the RGB!Hey @steaky360
Download firestorm from zotac...Their is alot of versions of this for different cards so make sure you get V 3.0.0.01HE
Then open app you should see advanced highlighted, go to spectra and you can change the colours
to either static or selection of animated effects.
