Artemis 1 is now ready and sat out at the launch pad,
The launch countdown clock is now ticking down, Artemis 1 will launch on Wendnesday at 1:04am EST with a 2 hour launch window, for us in the UK, that's at 6:04am, if everything goes ok🤞.

Space X Starship launch time line seem to have dropped back a bit, looking like it could be December or after the new year for it to launch,
the recent rumor is Space X will soon attempt a 20 - 22 engine static fire of the Super Heavy Booster.

Artemis 1's, Orion space capsule going around the Moon for it's first pass earlier today, it will get as close to the Moon surface by around 80 miles and swing out to around a distance of 40,000 miles before coming back in for a second pass to around 80 miles off the Moon surface then heading back to Earth,
Orion should splashdown back on Earth on the 11th December.

Orion has had a successful re-entry and splashdown, bringing a successful end to Artemis 1's mission🥳,

Next up will be Artemis 2, which is due to launch in mid 2024 and will follow the same parameters as Artemis 1 but with a crew of astronauts on board🚀🌕.

News on Space X Starship,

Elon has stated that Starship is due to have it's first orbital launch as early as late February / March,
Right now, Starship 24 and Super Heavy Booster 7 have been fully stacked for a 4th time and is now running through wet dress rehearsals,

Starship 24 is flight ready and passed all it's tests,
Super Heavy Booster 7 needs to do one more test after the wet dress rehearsals have completed, The last test for Booster 7 is to static fire all 33 engines which could only be weeks away from happening,
When the 33 engine static fire is due, Space X will destack Starship 24 from the Booster 7 and move it back to a safe place just in case anything bad happens during the Booster 33 engine static fire test,

If everything goes ok with the 33 engine static fire of the Booster, We could see this monster rocket launch in late February🤞.
