they are aimed at different markets. The llano is a direct competitor to the i3 - i5 sandy bridge for those looking at integrated graphics solutions. i.e on chip graphics. The bulldozer fx series is supposed to be amds offering to compete with the high end sandy bridge k skus.

However the bulldozers are better than the phenoms imo.

so would a 8gb phenom ii 6x and radeon 6670 graphics be enough for minecraft? i play xbox alot for hardcore fps games so only basic gaming needs are required

Reading this thread, it is clear that the Phemon 955 and 965 will be missed. We're going to see if we can source some more to keep us in Phenoms for the next few months. I'll update here if we are able to source some.

yea ok thanks found a build for myself i think....just need some help with processor. if you can check desktop section you can help?

personally i cant understand why anyone would now want a phenom 955 or 965 quad core processor now the fx -4100 and fx-6100 are available. Certainly the fx-6100 trounces the 965 and the fx-4100 beats the 955 in almost all benchmarks. In a few the fx-6100 beats the 1100t in sisandra for example.

I only got mine for convenience - it is cheap now and I can RMA my computer for upgrades in the future (SLI and a new proc)
