Q. What warranties do your computers have?

Our computers come with at least a 1 year return to base warranty. We also offer limited free collect and return periods which you can choose from when ordering a computer. During this period, should there be a hardware problem with your computer, we will collect the computer from you, repair it, and return it to you free of charge. The only thing we ask is that you keep the original packaging just in case, and therefore it will be a peace of mind knowing that if a computer is returned, it will arrive back in one piece.

Q. How much is delivery and how is the computer packaged?

Delivery to the UK mainland on a standard 24 hour Monday - Friday service is currently free of charges. Delivery costs to Highlands, Islands, including Jersey & Guernsey have additional fees, which can be selected when configuring your new system using our website.

Your computer will arrive in a multi-adjustable Computer System Pack. This consists of a double wall carton containing hand-grips, shock absorbing cushion foam end caps and a top fitting box with lifting handles. Why? Because we want to ensure that your computer gets to you in pristine condition. For a few pounds more than average at least you know that we have provided you with the safest packaging that we can find! It is specially designed for carrying computers.

Q. I am considering buying some software. Is your software legitimate because it is really cheap?

We only sell full genuine software. When you purchase some software from us, you will get the product license, the CD and the documents that come with the software. When you purchase Windows from us, it will come fully installed and ready to go with all your drivers installed and your computer fully configured.

Q. Your computers are really cheap. Does this mean that they wont perform as well as an expensive one?

Our computers are really cheap because we don't over price them. They may be hundreds of pounds cheaper than the high streets, but if you do a benchmark test you will find that they outperform most of their competitors.

Q. What size are the computer cases?

Q. Can you build the computer/laptop into a specific case?

Unfortunately you can only choose from the case options provided on our website. This is because of the assembly, configuration, delivery and packaging problems a specific case could create. There are no exceptions.

Q. Where are you located?

We are located in Brockholes, Holmfirth, which is near Huddersfield, Yorkshire. You are welcome to collect orders from our premises, but we do not usually have customer visits to our premises as they are not set up to do so.

Q. Can I call you?

Yes, feel free to call us Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (Saturdays 9am - 1pm) on 0844 499 4000.

Q. Are your parts branded and of a high quality?

We only buy our components from leading manufacturers such as AMD, ASUS, Intel, Seagate, Western Digital, etc.

Q. I don't trust the internet. What are your company registration details? Can I collect the computer?

Company Registration Number: 4777867
VAT Registration Number: 827 4395 05
Feel free to arrange to collect computers from us rather than have them delivered. You must still however pay the full amount upfront for the computer.

Q. Can I have a VAT receipt as the computer is going to be purchased by a company?

All our computers come with a full VAT receipt which will be available once you place an order.

Q. I have chosen a computer, but it is above my budget, can you offer me a better price?

Our prices are already hundreds of pounds cheaper than the high streets and therefore we cannot offer you better prices unless you purchase a bulk amount of 4 or more computers from us.

Q. What is the difference between Windows XP Home/Pro and the different versions of Windows 7?

There are several differences between Windows XP Home and Windows XP Pro. The main differences are that Windows XP Pro is better for networking as it has more features. For a full comparison of the differences, please click here.

Will the case be big enough and sufficiently cooled?

This is quite a common question. We would not sell a computer without sufficient cooling or the case being big enough. Our computers come with extra cooling fans to keep the configuration cool enough. Because our computers come with extra cooling fans, noise can actually be reduced because each fan has to do less work to keep the temperature to a minimum. Variable fans therefore rotate at a lower (less noisy) speed.

If I order a black or silver case, will all the drives etc. be of a matched colour?

If your order a black or silver case, your optical drives (CD/DVD drives) will be in black or silver and also your memory card reader and/or floppy disk drive will also be in the matched colour.

Q. Will you sell me the components only?

Our company only sells fully built and tested computers or laptops. We do not sell any individual components. We will only sell components to existing customers so that they can upgrade their computers cheaply and knowing that they have the support of our company.

Q. Will I void my warranty if I open the case and install my own components?

Unlike with most computer manufacturers, we allow you to open your case and install your own components without voiding your warranty providing that:

  • You understand that if the actions of the person installing the components cause damage to the computer, your warranty will be void.

  • You understand that if the components you install cause problems with your computer, your warranty will be void.

  • You understand that we will in no way support you installing your own compnents or with any problems you have relating to the compnents you have installed.

  • You understand that we have over 30 different measures in place to detect if a component has been moved/removed and if you have moved/removed a component, your warranty will be void. You are only entitled to add extra components to your computer.

Basically, if you add a component to your computer and all goes well, you will still have a warranty. In any other circumstance, your warranty will be void.

If you are unclear about anything, or wish to discuss any possible loop-holes, please call us before you make any changes to your computer configuration.
