I have a 2 year old Vortex III which I want to restore to factory settings, but I don't have to OS disc and it says it's required for the reset. How do I go ahead with the reset anyway (I'll install the OS at a later date)? Thanks.

Right so a few nights ago I suddenly heard this odd crackling/rattling sound coming from what I believe to be my back left vent (or around that area). It mainly seems to happen when moving the laptop about but does occasionally when stationary. The noise is very audible and I suppose no rattling...

So I just recieved my Vortex III 17" and against some colours (usually black) I can see a tiny red pixel. This isn't a MAJOR deal and tbh I've hardly noticed it; it's just sometimes I catch a glance of it and it's slightly annoying. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks.

So I'm about to make the switch from console (Xbox 360) to PC. Just wondering if this is true, especially in games like BF3 and other FPSs. Obviously there were some on Xbox, but I don't exactly like the idea of being in a match where everyone is flying about invisibly and stuff haha. Cheers!

Im hoping to purchase a Vortex II 17" in the next month or so. Is it worth paying an extra £80 for a matte screen instead of a glossy one? Obviously you get less glare with a matte one, but how much colour/brightness quality are you sacrificing? Thanks.
