Just read this out of pure curiosity. Methinks PCS have gone some way to sorting BillG's issues....it will be nice to see him post when he gets his system back.......which brings me to this point. Locking threads.... WHY lock a thread because it happens to be 'covering old ground'? Why should that be seen as such a problem? All that does is ensure that BillG would be unable to tell us about a resolution to his issue which is what everybody wants and expects to see. I imagine BillG said something similar in his Pm...And yes being a mod can be a thankless task and all that, we know this....and your efforts are, of course, appreciated. :)

BillG - we sent you an email earlier about your RMA but we've not had a reply yet - I assume you're at work or away? It's completed and ready to dispatch, and we can ship it out now on a Saturday delivery if you like? Otherwise we will ship it out on a standard Mon-Friday service.

We also tried to call you on your telephone number ending in 390 but the number is "unallocated"?

EDIT: We will ship on a Saturday service unless we hear from you.

I received my PC yesterday but I didn't have time to play any games yet to test it out. There is one thing that I noticed, Insted of normal heatsink they have put heatsink with radiator which cools RAM. Now I'm wondering why they couldn't do it earlier? Also fan on the side panel of my case touches the heatsink pipes on one of the graphic cards (top one). Finally PC came very dusty with some wierd trace on the plastic window which I can't even clean. I will try to test it out on some games and post some pictures as well. I'm happy that I finally got my system back even tho it has different setup from the original order. Each 6970 has two radiators and has only one GPU to cool so hopefully it won't burn like 6990.

Today, while playing a game my PC suddenly stopped working. After few checks it appeard that power cable or fuse failed. Now I'm using cable from my old machine with Tagan 750W power supply which never broke in 5 years of intensive using. Now I'm wondering what could cause power cable/fuse to fail? Was there some kind of short circuit or the fuse/cable were just low quality? Should I be concern about this? Can I use cable from my old system till I won't find new fuse?

It may just have been a weak fuse or faulty cable,,
It should be ok to use another power lead,but best check with PCS as it might affect warranty,I'm not sure about that.
maybe best changing fuse first, If it blows again,assuming that's what happened, then obviously,there is a problem.

i have read some extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemely bad BAD experiences with PCS.


But there are thousands of positive testimonials, I guess it's the same with any company, things happen but most people get what they want.



I'm hoping there will be no problems and I will be lucky because I have very bad luck.

We're not perfect, and very occasionally things do go wrong. We could just delete this thread to hide any negative experiences. However, we're an honest and open company with (as you mentioned) thousands of positive reviews:

I will read the reviews anyway. I fully understand, I see myself as a cooperative and patient customer and have been so in the past, but I know that some customers don't make rectifying problems any easier xD

i've been getting excited seeing the GTX560 Ti gameplay videos on youtube, crysis max settings full hd, no lag, all on a similar rig to mine but some with older/less powerful processors and less RAM!


can't wait!

Sending emails pretty much begging for information regarding the build or delivery state may eventually get you a mail to check your online account.. rest assured this will certainly be the last time I even consider using this once fantastic company.. Sorry but enough is enough..

If you actually posted some sort of experience rather than on your first post making such an idiotic comment then people may actually take you seriously or even better, they may benefit from what you say.

Communication from customer facing for me has always been top notch, and from the majority I haven spoken to, the quality of staff on phoens and emails is far far better than any other company we have used.

As PCS have stated above they do make mistakes and where possible they do everything they can to fix this, I dont think this is unreasonable.

If the mail is stating you check your online account then I am guessing you did not in the first place. Why not? This is where a lot of the information can be found regarding your order.

If your going to have a go at a company then atleast give some evidence / experience as to why you feel like that, otherwise no one will benefit. As im sure you can clearly see from thsi thread PCS have an active presence on the forums and do take into consideration what people say, and from what I have seen the majority of the tiem do a great job fixing any problems.

And to be perfectly honest the whole process was a shambles and if I were to put it all into writting I would have no energy left to do anythong else..

I have used the service before without fault.. yet this last experience has left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth from broken promises given by customer facing staff about keeping me up to date on more than 1 occasion and why would I check my online account.. I paid for 3 day processing so when my online account clearly stated 5th day processing what help does that give me.. Hence contacting the guys on the phone.

Im not going into further detail as I can feel my blood boiling..

Fair enough but theres no point posting a useless post like that tbh, yes its about expressing thoughts but you have to see that a post experssing an opinion for or against PCS needs to have some sort of evidence to back it up. I honestly dont see why people spend their time complaining on forums when actually they could be spending that time resolving the issues they have with PCS themselves. If you have a problem with customer facing staff then ask to speak to the manager, if you cant on the phone then do it properly in writing.

tbh I dont have the time to be waiting for 5 mins on hold just to speak with someone..

I have sent numerous emails and have had exactly 1 written response.. I have received a number of generic scripted responses which to be honest I find counter productive as they never address the specific question I have raised and simply fuel my feelings of being ignored now that they have my money..

As I said I have used them before I am a returning customer but due to lack of communication over an issue they did not inform me of even though it was PCS who advised to use both 3 day processing and Saturday delivery @£39 to be left waiting made me furious when they could have informed me..

non the less this is a lesson learnt.. Sorry PCS I shall not be reccomending you any more nor will I order from you in the future..

...I really want to come and live in your magical land on insta-pick up and perfect service...do you have the address for the house with the relevant wardrobe handy? :D
