Thanks for that, though the reason I have the 3060 in that configuration is that the 3070/80 are out of stock and not due in till at least August... But the 3080 is available with the Ionico build..

Hi, So my old Vortex laptop died last week and I now need a new laptop. I use it for gaming - don't need the games to be at max settings but do want it kinda futureproofed to keep me gaming for years to come. My Vortex lasted seven years, and apart from not running the new Assassin's Creed...

The CPU is around 45 and the CPU 42. I'll have another clean of the fans, as it's been a while since I've done that, and I'll have a look at the CMOS batter and see if that makes a difference, thanks
