Been a while since I've been on here. Most likely one for the team tomorrow but only happened this evening.... Was pretty much watching TV when my fan kicked into overdrive (I run my PC pretty hot with 3ds Max and it's never been that loud) so I quickly turned it off. Then I got the strangest...
Just got this message when restarting PC. I did get it the first time I booted it up but thought nothing of it because the clock speed was correct. Now, however, it seems to have actually reset itself and my clock speed is showing as 3.07GHz according to MegaHertz and CPU Speed.
Any ideas?
Got an Overclocking Failed message and the remnants of the trial version of Windows where still on it (but wouldn't boot up) so reinstalled Windows and everything seems fine ;) Runs like an absolute dream! Such a huge difference.... Shuts down and restarts faster than my old PC can log off...
