If you really want the greyed out product however, you can ring PCS and they will be able to amend your completed order. I'm waiting for the ASUS 3080 which was greyed out for me at the time and I just called up.
Thanks. this is what I figured it'd mean, that would make the most sense.. Guess people have taken things out of context on other threads. In that case I'll remove my £9 thermal paste from my Corsair cooler and (hopefully) not go to the back :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Aren't game like Stellaris, Total War etc very CPU heavy? Seems like a 3080 is overkill while the CPU is somewhat lacking compared. Also by multimedia I assume watching, not creeating?
Have seen this posted in a few threads before and wondering if there's any truth to this? I know that if say you didn't have a 3080 selected then you selected one that yes you'd go to the back for that. But I saw someone say this was any amendment that had this effect...
Perfect, thank you all for the replies. It was mainly to clarify that it does in fact go by order date and they wont just allocate stock out to any order that fits. It's more than fair that someone ahead of me gets first dibs on stock
Hello,
I have recent placed an order for a new PC which will have the Asus ROG STRIX & a Ryzen 9 5900X in it. I am well aware that both of these items re facing stock shortages so under no illusion that it may take 100+ working days to enter building. However what I'm concerned about is stock...
Thanks guys! I've already specced everything up and had some help on here already, it just caught my eye today that it doesn't say who they get them from but that would make sense given the limited stock. Can anyone advise on the current quality of Palit/Zotac cards? My old 780ti from here was a...
Hi,
So I'm going to be building a new rig with a 30 series card in it. On the site it says "Not Founders Edition" but doesn't say who it's made by. I know PCS used to use Palit cards, so is this the case for these and if not do we know who the manufacturer is?
Thanks for your help man :) I'll be waiting to order I think while I have a ponder. Can I just ask again, why the 1000w PSU? There's no way I'd require that much draw or is that to allow room for upgrade?
Thanks all for your replies - I'll steer clear of the open loop cooler - Just had a look at the cases and I think i'm set on one - I'd ideally like a 3080 just for future proofing but will consider the 3060ti & 3070
Question: Why the 1000W PSU? Surely the power draw from that build will come...
That's very similar to the none liquid cool build I priced up. Thanks, I've got a lot to think about now. Like I say, I'm concerned about noise and temps, just not sure what would be best to reduce these both without compromising performance.
