Ordered yesterday with Rush mount option and it is has been mounted and is being tested (received the mail this morning about it going to the test step ) So it is likely that the laptop will be dispatched on monday like it was supposed on my order. As I also took the speed 1 day delivery I am likely to get the laptop on Tuesday, will keep you updated (French Pc Specialist Shop)

Well I don't want to break your bubble, but Brexit allowing, a dispatch to France will require some more time than Monday-Tuesday I guess... But let's see if they are up to their promises.. (all is in the hands of the courier, though).

I can wait more time but in which case they will charge back for the speed delivery :) My main concern was about the rush mount that has been indeed applied as I feared a lot of laptops were in queue

If they get the laptop out in the express timeframe then they have met with what you've paid for, if it gets held up at french customs or anywhere else after it has left them then that is out of their control

I guess as I pay for 1 day delivery with Fedex, so does PCS (amount of shipping is not the same) It will indeed not be PCS fault but as in every contract if Fedex is paid to deliver in one day and this takes 3 days to be delivered, Fedex will not have fulfilled is contract towards PCS and so PCS will get a compensation.

What is this rush mount option even, I've never seen this?
I have paid 69 euros to have the laptop mounted within 3 labor days. This is an option. As it came suddenly avalaible yesterday (where until now it was 3th March) I had the feeling that without this additional fee I may either have a long mounting time due to the queue already in place or even being delayed to another batch.
You can only take this option if all the hardware is avalaible though

that is it. I have not such great English skills, Sorry.
Don’t worry, wasn’t a criticism at all.

If you’ve selected 1 day delivery with fedex and they aren’t able to meet that then PCS will refund any delivery charges.

Exports to anywhere in the EU have been troublesome of late, but if fedex are offering that service then they’ll have to meet it.

I have taken the RTX 3070 ,64 GB of memory so it wasnt the default configuration. I guess they had to open it to change the memory at least. I also had the zero pixel warranty just to be sure.

They comes anyway without any RAM and Storage so every Ionico must be opened.
Plus if you asks for MX-4 application (which I did) they have disassemble the heatpipes, clean and reapply.

PS: I know of another guy who preordered the 18th Jan which entered assembly of Ionico as of today. We should soon follow next week I guess.

I'm hoping my RMA for the new Ionico gets processed as soon as too, have been on order since the 12th of December as the original order of the Vyper was delivered with a 2060 graphics card when I had paid for a 2070 Super at the time! Blessing in disguise as I've been able to pay for this hopefully better Ionico with a 3070!

I didn't dare to have them repaste as I read some horror stories about it not being done properly. But I was tempted to do it.
I guess we are going to have a lot of fun with our Ionicos

Yeah, I ordered MX-4 just I did know it should last a bit longer than normal paste (Arctic states up to 8 years, but in the small space of a laptop I'd be utterly surprised if it last half of that). Still I do hope 2x the times a normal past generally last. So my lazy me decided for this factor, lol.

But yeah, after that I saw those stories. I hope I have not to RMA back and forth UK-Italy-UK during Brexit just because bad paste application. They prepare hundreds of PC every day. I can't believe PCS can't do a proper application. It's in their interest, as the back and forth would be at their expenses, else.
We'll see. ;)

My Ionico has been finished, tested and given to Fedex. Fedex estimates a delivery on Tuesday.
So computer ordered thursday , and send on Saturday the 3 working day dispatch is really not a joke and definitely worth the 69 euros.
Will keep you updated.
