I guess it depends on how much you are "into" the game and how much of a completionist you are. Generally games like this GTA, Arkham City etc, have around 3 levels of gameplay
1. Main campaign
2. Side missions
3. Collectable items/minor random missions
Youve obviously done the first 2, so the proposed several hundred hour gameplay would rest in the third level. So its a question of how much more you want to play the game once youve exhausted the main bulk of the game.
On top of that as you mentioned before, you could probably class yourself as a hardcore gamer that knows your way around games like this instinctively. Im guessing many players would not be as far into the game as you would be, say after 5hrs into it. So by your standards you may have gone through most of the game content, but youve probably gone through faster than the average person would.
As ive not really played an ES game before, my guess is i would probably take around 100hrs to get to where you are at 60hrs
I know LOL
Turns out it looks better than it is. Blasting guys constantly and doing little damage. By that time theyve already closed the distance and kicking my ass everywhere resulting in a Benny Hill type runaround.
As mentioned before i use firebolt and ive even got the "does extra damage" perk as well as the duel casting perk. Wolves i can 1-hit-kill, Bandits 2-hit kill. But generally anything more powerful its a complete waste of time. Especially since im wearing robes (so no armour).
When i come across someone more powerful than a bandit its usually in a tight space so ive hit them several times and theyre still coming. By this time theyre right on top of me and going the mage route i dont have much physical defense.
So going to restart with full conjuration mage. Using bound weapon and a shield. Destruction is completely overated.
Okay i admit perhaps im not using Destruction properly. But the way i play (which isnt very good) i need some close quarters protection and the best thing for me is to have a sword and shield.
